6 Hot Sauces You Need To Try

While the hot sauce category is vast, your favorite hot sauce is a kitchen essential. Why? Because it can be doused on most anything and elevates the flavor of whatever you’re noshing on.

Use your favorite hot sauce to jazz up a simple breakfast like eggs and bacon, or incorporate it into vinaigrettes and marinades for a little kick.

There’s an endless variety of hot sauces types to choose from. Sweet-spicy blends are perfect for barbecue sauces, kicked-up pastes add depth to soups and stews, while vinegary styles lend a zest to pretty much everything.

  1. High River Sauces Cheeba Gold Barbados Style Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce

If you love a mustard based hot sauce this one’s for you! Cheeba uses curry sweet peach and scotch bonnets for a zesty tropical flavor.

Ingredients: Peaches, Yellow Scotch Bonnet Pepper, onions, distilled vinegar, Fatali Peppers, brown sugar, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, curry powder, salt, cumin, Black Pepper, cilantro & family secret spices.

2. Angry Goat Pepper Hippy Dippy Green

Hippy dippy green is a new twist on verde style sauces. Avocado and kiwi fruit combine with fire roasted chilies and tomatillos to create a creamy and refreshing sauce. Try it on omelets, Mexican or Spanish cuisine, fish tacos, or use as a salad dressing.

3. Hot Ones Los Calientes

Los Calientes has a smoky blend of serrano and habanero chiles, sweet fruit and tart tomatillo. You can douse it on wings, tacos, pizza, or just about anything that needs a little kick.

Ingredients: Chiles (green serrano, applewood smoked  green serrano, orange habanero), apple cider, apricot, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, tomatillo, agave nectar, water, garlic, salt, toasted onion, cumin, culantro, black pepper, celery seed

4. Paddy O’s Potion (All Natural, Vegan, Paleo, Gluten-Free)

Paddy O’s Potion goes great on pretty much everything including tacos, pizza, chicken wings, rice and beans, etc. You can add it to ketchup, mayo, bbq or any other sauce for a spicier flavor.

Ingredients: White Vinegar, Organic Carrots, Organic Tomatoes, Red Wine Vinegar, Grapefruit Juice, Habanero, White Onion, Sunflower Seeds, Fresh Garlic, Sea Salt, Dried Arbol Pepper, Black Pepper

5. Dirty Dicks Peachy Green Pepper Hot Sauce

Dicks Peachy Green Hot Sauce is a blend of serrano and jalapeno peppers, ripened peaches, honey, vanilla, lemon, lime,pineapple juices, sugar and freshly grounded spices. This sauce is delicious for cooking and dipping.

6. Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce

Secret Aardvark has a unique Caribbean/Tex-Mex hybrid made with flavorful habanero peppers and roasted tomatoes. This hot sauce will start out a little sweet from the roasted red tomatoes and carrots, then the heat from the habanero peppers will kick you in the mouth.

Put it on everything……Add to pizza, burgers, wings, burritos, tacos, chili, Bloody Marys, red beer, or use as a marinade!
